Nudist Families

Nudism has been a growing popular phenomenon over the past few years. Many people have turned it into their lifestyle, others see a form of perversion in it and some people make a living out of it. Nowadays, you may find camping areas, swimming pools and even entire villages of nudists! Nevertheless, this nudism fashion seeks its place in our societies.

Over the last year and a half, Nudist Day has brought to your attention a number of places where you can hike naked for hours in a beautiful natural surrounding, without any objections from local authorities. Here we bring them back to you as part of a special report in order that you can decide where in the world your next nude hike will take place.

What is keeping a lot of our young people from practicing social nudism? This question has been debated by nudists and nudist organizations such as AANR for years, with no clear answer. As any club owner or nudist organization will tell you, our future lies within the next generation. But where are they? Research has shown a striking decline in the number of younger adults entering into the social nudist lifestyle and no one seems to know exactly why.

Nudists and naturists generally will not flaunt their state of (un)dress. They want to enjoy their freedom from clothing only.

"The meanings of naturism and nudism are very similar, and refer to a cultural and political movement practicing, advocating and defending social nudity in private and public spaces. Several other terms ("social nudity" as well as "public nudity", and recently: "clothes-free") have been proposed as a replacement of these terms, but none has yet found the same wide-spread acceptance as the older terms naturism and nudism". This from Wikepedia. Obviously, this practice has been going on for a very long time - and in a multitude of places.
